It took me FOREVVVVVER to decide on the bookends I wanted for our master. I chose nightstands with an open shelf specifically to display our favorite books, so I knew I’d need to find some cute bookends that went with our room.
The space is super neutral — we have a linen upholstered bed, white bedding, Ryan’s cream dresser that I painted + my light natural wood dresser. Our nightstands are black + I’m thinking the future lighting fixture will be too. We also have some brass going on with the round mirror above my dresser + Ryan’s hardware on his dresser. Because the nightstands are black, I thought either light stone or brass/gold bookends would be perfect.
It was TOUGH finding stylish bookends. There are a lot of cheesy options out there, including many constructed of thin black metal. I narrowed it down to the following + ended up settling for the gold sculptural bookends from Target. We needed four + they were $15 each — a total steal! I love how they look in our room 🙂
